InMotion
Choose InMotionI choose these guys after doing a lot of research. Most of the reviews I read about this webhost were positive. I had a lot of email issues with my previous hosting provider, so I had to be completely sure in my decision. I currently use the VPS hosting solution and I'm completely satisfied. The email is fast and I think this hosting is well worth the money I payed for it.
It's worth the money we pay for it
I tried 4 web hosting companies for the last few years and no other company I liked more than I like InMotion. The best services and support I ever worked with. The price is a bit higher than average price in the industry, but I think it is well worth it. I greatly value my calmness and comfort and InMotion gives me that.
BlueHost
My point of viewI have a dozen of accounts with BlueHost. I'm satisfied with the service. Emails are always answered within one day. Though server settings are changed once in a while without notification and web applications break because of it, BlueHost always helps to get your site running again in no time. I think this hosting is worth the money I pay for it.
Amazing
I consider this webhost the best in the industry. Fast servers, amazing features, reasonable prices. I have 5 sites hosted at the same account and there never been any major downtime. I can complain only one thing - the customer support is sometimes a bit slow to respond. Anyhow I'm satisfied and am going to stay with BlueHost.
Webhostingpad
ExceptionalI do not have a lot of experience with web hosts. I like what I get from Web Hosting Pad. Fast servers that are reliable and hardly have any problems. Their software is up to date as I am aware, and the web space I am given is much more than I need. The Customer Support is helpful and knowledgeable. I have not had any significant problems that were not my fault. And the best thing - they are quick, and that really makes me feel good with them. Web Hosting Pad is not perfect, but really pretty good, especially for the low price. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
Great Price and Great Support
The price and a "lifetime" domain name were definitely the factors in choosing these guys for me. I run a site for a non-profit organization and pay for it out of my pocket. It was very easy to load up my site. And when I had a couple of questions I was answered by a friendly, very knowledgeable and informative support technician. He answered my questions with clarity and accuracy. I actually had my site running on two different hosts for some time and WebHostingPad won the competition. The WebHostingPad site loaded much faster and with no downtime. I quit the other webhost and pointed the other domain to my WebHostingPad site. I highly recommend these guys: the price is right, the support is great, the performance is marvelous.
Hostmonster
AwesomeThey are awesome compared to other hosting companies I've dealt with. Everything was working 3 hours after I signed up, including emails. The down side of HostMonster is the limit on emails. Only 10MB attachment per email, only 500 maximum emails per hour for the whole domain. That may not be a big problem if you run a small business. But if your company has a lot of email users, talk to HostMonster first to see if there is a solution before joining.
The best webhost ever
I recently switched over to Hostmonster because my previous hosting company couldn't offer me the kind of space and bandwidth that Hostmonster offers. Their customer service impressed me a lot. My tickets were responded in about 30 minutes, and their LiveChat support response time is under 5 minutes. And, on the few occasions that I requested for support, the problems were generally fixed right away. I had not experienced any downtime yet. For the price you pay there really isn't much to complain about.
Glob@t.com
It's horribleAnd I thought my previous hosting provider was awful. Their auto upgrade system is a nightmare. The customer service and tech support are simply nonexistent. Too many outages... Well, I have to look for my 4th hosting provider in 3 years. What a disappointment.
It's a good webhost
I really like it here. My small business website is running beautifully with no problems of any kind. No major downtimes have happened to me yet. The cPanel is great and comfortable, features are useful. The only thing that disappoints me about Globat is their automatic upgrading system. Anyone here knows how to unsubscribe?
Yahoo
Great deal, but too bad supportThe web hosting deal itself seems to be great but what is this deal without good tech support? It takes them so long to answer questions and fix problems. I just think it is not worth the money and headache.
Not good at all
Problems with the Small Business mail servers are depressing me. There times when the mail servers are completely down for hours. This has happened several times in the past few years. As for Yahoo Small Business Web Hosting, the moment I upgraded to that I started getting unbelievable amounts of spam. And when I contacted the customer service they said it was not their problem.
Dot5hosting
They don’t let me quitI called 4 times, sent 2 emails, talked to them on the live chat twice. All I wanted was to cancel my account. Finaly they say that they canceled my account, but they never gave me confirmation number which they promised via email, and keep charging my credit card.
No problems.
I've been using Dot5Hosting for about 3 years now without a single problem. They sent very clear instructions on how to login and where to put my files and my site is up and running beautifully ever since. I never faced a single problem at all. Never been down or slow. It’s a great webhost.
Lunarpages
Mixed feelings.I have been with Lunarpages for about 3 years. They used to be worth the price. When I signed up they were really great, but after a server move I've been overwhelmed with spam. Things have calmed down a little now and the uptime is good. But tech support is still awful, however. They treat you like an idiot almost every time you call them. Otherwise, they are a great webhosting company.
I'm very pleased.
I've been running a site with Lunarpages for several years already and have been very impressed. Their customer service is just excellent. I always get replies within 24 hours. I had the only one problem. When I tried to run a very active forum community which drained away my resources and bandwidth. Moving the forums off-site fixed that issue. By the way, I've changed the basic hosting plan to the business one and do not face such problems any more. There have been a few minor failures, but support always helped me iron them out in no time. I've never used the free software that comes with the hosting, so I can say a thing about it. But I live the free-domain-for-life package, as well as the additional domains included with the business-level hosting. And the price is great for what you get!
GoDaddy
A great startGoDaddy is one the biggest web hosting companies out there. And like many I was drawn in by their low prices. I've been hosting many domains with GoDaddy over the past few years. GoDaddy's customer support has been excellent for me. Uptime has been pretty good over the years. I have, however, experienced some downtime. These incidents have been few and and were always fixed within minutes. I'd say their hosting service itself is quite good but not great. These guys provide reliable hosting and decent quality, but there are better hosts out there as well. If you're a more experienced user, you can get more for your money. I've noticed some performance issues with my sites. FTP connections with my servers seem to have more and more errors recently, and there are times when my sites seem to run a little too slow. In few words - GoDaddy is a good low-price option. If you're a beginner or running one or two sites, GoDaddy might be the best for you. But if you're running multiple sites it's not that good a choice.
GoDaddy Hosting
I can name few pros about Godaddy:Cheap, reliable hosting. Knowledgeable and professional customer service. Variety of payment methods accepted. But the control panel is a disaster. Though, I can't say GoDaddy is the best web hosting company I most definitely say it is by far better than many others.
PowWeb
Cheap quality and reliability.I have signed up with PowWeb about a year and a half ago. And I cannot remember a good day with them. Terrible to the bone if you own an online shop. SQL was awful. And you know when my site worked just as fast as one can imagine? During the last few days of my subscription! I had enough, I won't prolong even if they really solved their problems, in which I doubt.
It’s okay so far
I have been with powweb for about 8 months. I needed a lot of space and a lot of bandwidth and they were offering the most in both of them at that time. So I chose powweb to be my webhost. The setup was smooth and I can’t remember any problems with it. In the first 1-2 months I experienced a couple of downtime but there were merely noticeable. Their support chat was very nice a few times I used it. So far it’s been a good hosting provider for me. Hope it will stay this way.
